Imagine growing up in the American south, going to church every Sunday (Tuesday & Friday), and directing the Adult choir at the age of 11.
With more than 30 years of Gospel coaching experience (+ studying Music & Theater at the University of Houston, starring Off Broadway in New York and touring Europe with his own Gospel show) Brandon brings you his American Gospel Workshop!
What can the WORKSHOP teach you?
Gospel means "Good News"
So the most important thing about the music is the message.
Gospel, the genre, originates on the continent of Africa (where it's first recorded that music be used to communicate as opposed to just entertain).
That method combined with the pain of slavery created the genre we all know and Love.
While one may not be religious or feel a connection to it's roots- the good news message of Gospel can Inspire us All. In this 2-hour Workshop you will:
1- Learn 3 Gospel Songs
2- Practice your Harmony and check your vocal technique.
3- Improve your Vocal Improvisation Skills
4- Receive personalised tips and guidance from Brandon directly
5- Have fun learning Adlibs & feeling vocally and emotionally free
